5 Extra Minutes

If you find yourself with 5 extra minutes at the end of class today, you may consider showing this video from Flocabulary.  They do a "Week in Rap" every Friday on all the current events that are happening in our world.  It makes for some pretty interesting discussions between our students and us.

Hurricane Isaac & Will.i.am on Mars

Lance Armstrong lost his Tour de France titles. Hurricane Isaac hit Louisiana. Will.i.am's new singled was beamed out on Mars. Romney and Ryan are the official Republican presidential nominees. And RIP Neil Armstrong. These stories and more in your Week in Rap.

Watch the video. And remember, you can click on the lyrics to learn more.
